AURIVIA™ SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Last Updated: 9 August 2026
At Aurivia™, we are committed to getting your order to you safely and efficiently. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders placed through our online store are processed and delivered within South Africa.
By placing an order with Aurivia™, you acknowledge and accept the delivery terms below, subject to your rights under applicable South African law.
1. DELIVERY WITHIN SOUTH AFRICA
Aurivia™ currently offers delivery within South Africa.
Orders are delivered using Aramex Store-to-Door Courier.
Aramex Store-to-Door provides domestic door-to-door delivery and offers parcel tracking using the applicable waybill number.
We currently do not offer international shipping.
2. ORDER PROCESSING
After your payment has been successfully received, your order will be prepared for dispatch.
Please allow approximately:
1–3 business days for order processing
This allows us time to:
- verify your order;
- prepare your product;
- securely package your order; and
- hand the parcel over to our courier.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will generally begin processing on the next business day.
During periods of unusually high order volumes, including major promotions, Black Friday and the festive season, processing may take longer.
3. DELIVERY TIME
Estimated delivery: 7–10 business days
Your order should generally arrive within 7–10 business days after your order has been processed and dispatched.
Please note that this is an estimated delivery timeframe and not a guaranteed delivery date.
Delivery times can vary depending on:
- your location;
- courier capacity;
- regional or remote delivery areas;
- public holidays;
- severe weather;
- high-volume periods;
- incorrect or incomplete delivery information;
- operational disruptions; and
- circumstances outside Aurivia™'s reasonable control.
Aramex states that delivery to remote and regional areas can take longer than standard delivery times because service frequency may vary.
4. COURIER DELAYS
Once your order has been handed over to Aramex Store-to-Door, the physical transportation and delivery of the parcel is handled by the courier.
Aurivia™ is not responsible for delays caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including delays caused by the courier, provided that this does not limit or exclude any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
Examples may include:
- courier network delays;
- unusually high parcel volumes;
- adverse weather;
- road closures;
- strikes or industrial action;
- regional service disruptions;
- technical problems;
- public holidays;
- incorrect address information supplied by the customer; or
- other events outside Aurivia™'s reasonable control.
Important:
Aurivia™ does not guarantee delivery on a specific date.
However, if your order experiences a significant delay, please contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to assist you and, where appropriate, communicate with the courier regarding the status of your parcel.
Nothing in this section is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory consumer rights under South African law.
5. TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Once your order has been dispatched, you may receive a tracking/waybill number.
You can use this number to track your shipment through Aramex.
Aramex states that online tracking becomes available after the shipment has been created/collected.
If you have received a tracking number but the tracking information has not updated immediately, please allow some time for the courier system to update.
6. DELIVERY ADDRESS
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Please carefully check your:
- Full name
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Street address
- Suburb
- City/town
- Province
- Postal code
- Unit/apartment number, where applicable
Aurivia™ cannot guarantee successful delivery where incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate information has been supplied by the customer.
If you realise that you entered an incorrect address, please contact us immediately.
We will attempt to assist before dispatch, but once the order has been handed to the courier, we cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be changed.
7. REMOTE AND REGIONAL AREAS
Some addresses may be classified by Aramex as regional or remote/outlying delivery areas.
Such locations may have longer transit times than standard delivery areas.
Additional delivery charges may also apply in certain remote locations.
Aramex specifically notes that additional charges may apply to certain special delivery areas and that regional/outlying areas may take longer than standard delivery times.
If an additional courier charge is required for your delivery, we will communicate this to you where reasonably possible.
8. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
If the courier cannot complete delivery because:
- nobody is available to receive the parcel;
- the address provided is incorrect;
- the customer cannot be contacted;
- access to the property is unavailable; or
- another issue prevents delivery,
the courier may make another delivery attempt or contact the recipient.
Please ensure that the telephone number supplied during checkout is correct and that you are reasonably available to receive your parcel.
9. P.O. BOXES
Aramex Store-to-Door is a door-to-door courier service and does not deliver to P.O. Box addresses.
Please provide a valid physical delivery address when placing your order.
10. DAMAGED PACKAGES
If your package appears damaged when it arrives, please take photographs of:
- The outside of the parcel;
- The shipping label;
- The packaging; and
- The product and any visible damage.
Please contact Aurivia™ as soon as reasonably possible.
We may request photographs or other information to assist us in investigating the matter with the courier.
Where applicable, we will provide the remedy required by South African law and our Return & Refund Policy.
11. LOST OR MISSING ORDERS
If your parcel appears to be lost or has not arrived within a reasonable period, please contact us.
We may investigate the shipment with Aramex using the applicable tracking/waybill information.
If your tracking information indicates that the parcel has been delivered but you have not received it, please notify us promptly so that we can investigate the matter.
12. WRONG PRODUCT RECEIVED
If you receive a product that differs from what you ordered, please contact us.
Please provide:
- your order number;
- photographs of the product received;
- photographs of the shipping label; and
- a description of the issue.
We will investigate and, where applicable, arrange the appropriate remedy in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and applicable South African law.
13. SHIPPING FEES
Applicable shipping charges will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Aurivia™ may offer free shipping or discounted shipping promotions from time to time.
Any applicable promotional shipping offer will be subject to the terms displayed at the time of purchase.
14. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- their delivery information is accurate;
- someone is reasonably available to receive the parcel;
- their contact details are correct; and
- they respond to reasonable communication from the courier regarding delivery.
Where a delivery problem is caused by incorrect information or actions attributable to the customer, additional delivery or redelivery costs may apply where permitted by law.
15. DELIVERY DELAYS AND EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
Aurivia™ will make reasonable efforts to process and dispatch orders within the stated processing period.
However, we cannot control every aspect of the courier network after a parcel has been dispatched.
Aurivia™ will therefore not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting solely from a courier delay or an event outside our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable South African law.
This may include events such as:
- extreme weather;
- natural disasters;
- major road closures;
- strikes;
- civil unrest;
- courier network disruptions;
- unusually high delivery volumes;
- government restrictions;
- power or telecommunications failures; or
- other events outside our reasonable control.
This clause does not exclude or limit any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.
